As of early 19th century
and with the progress of science and technology in the New Era, construction of
engineering structures and also construction of buildings started with various
applications in the United States and other countries using Classic Waffle Slab
System.

A waffle slab or two-way
joist slab is a concrete slab made of reinforced concrete with concrete ribs
running in two directions on its underside.
The name waffle comes from the grid pattern

countries like the United States and Canada with the aim of optimizing
concrete-based ceilings and then, use of these slabs were developed in other
